Micayla Carroll is a photographer born and raised in New York City. Carroll has exhibited photographs at the Museum at FIT and Soho Photo Gallery. Her work focuses primarily on portraiture, with a strong emphasis on environmental portraits. Her work explores themes of intimate life, queerness, growing up, and storytelling. Carroll works as a photographer's assistant and gallery intern. She will graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Photography and Related Media and a minor in Art History in the spring of 2025.
